IDENTITY est un projet du photographe britannique primé Chris Jepson, qui explore ce que signifie s’identifier en tant que membre de la communauté LGBTQ+ aujourd’hui.
Du 31 mai au 26 juin 2022, à l’occasion du mois des fiertés, le public est invité à découvrir les portraits des personnes LGBTQ+ de tout horizon social à travers le monde, remettant en question les stéréotypes.
En dévoilant des visages de Londres, New York, Brighton, Paris, Kolkata, le projet Identity donne une visibilité aux minorités sexuelles et de genre, trace de leur présence dans le monde et de la dynamique de leur identité.
La galerie Canopy s’engage depuis de longues années sur les questionnements d’identités sexuelles et de genre, et a le plaisir de recevoir Chris Jepson.

IDENTITY is a project by award-winning British photographer Chris Jepson, which explores what it means to identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community today.
From May 31 to June 26, 2022, on the occasion of Pride Month, the public was invited to discover portraits of LGBTQ+ people from all walks of life around the world, challenging stereotypes.
By unveiling faces from London, New York, Brighton, Paris, Kolkata, the Identity project gives visibility to sexual and gender minorities, traces of their presence in the world and the dynamics of their identity.
