The hilarious script has been given a 2021 makeover, but it’s still the story of Sleeping Beauty, a princess who wants to be a pop singer and has had sex with every boy who’s wandered into the woods. A hopelessly privileged Prince searching for an independent woman, a Raven with identity issues, a frustrated fairy who’s out of practice, plus of course a villain, the magnificent Malefluent who’s as insecure and attention seeking as she is evil.
